Dan Socha’s EP, Miles To Go Before I Sleep, finally has the okay from Dan to go live on the site, so that will happen sometime this month.

SKAtch on the Rocks has recorded most of their fulll-length and we are about to start mixing and talking about production.  

The Suburbanites are 3/4 done with their next album, I Liked Them Before They Went Political, and will finish it and promote it before Rocco leaves for the air force and Fegan leaves for paris.   

War Head’s album will be put up on the bandcamp soon.  Very exciting.  

All Over The Place, Squirt Gun Warriors, and the Glow Pop Jiggly Jams are finalizing tour plans for the end of june.  

Flowerpot Records Fest has 14 confirmed groups performing, including Call Me Constant, the first live performance from Reflections Of Stars, Columbus/Dayton natives Prosper, touring bands like FORT! the band, and The Cultured, and so many more.  We still need a place for it though.  Any suggestions or booking inquiries should be sent to allovertheplaceband@gmail.com and will be responded to within the day.  

Finally, there will be a new compilation out this month of all of the bands currently releasing/touring for Flowerpot Records.  WOOOOO

Okay, so 24 hours ago I wasn’t even sure if there was gonna be a Flowerpot Records Fest.  Then 14 bands jumped on, people as far away as Boston, along with folks from columbus, and more surprises to come.  This is awesome and all, but I’m gonna need some super help to make this thing as big as it deserves to be.  

I would love people to volunteer to do things like helping me prep the space, and cleaning up, working sound, providing equipment, etc.  The fest will be $5 and most of that will go into making this work out, the rest will go to the record label and the touring bands, so I’m gonna need help with making affordable food, finding an affordable place, and stuff like that.  

We’ll likely have some of the people/bands staying overnight in Berea, in which case a place to stay would be lovely.  If you have a backyard/living room that you can house some people in, that would rule.  

And last but not least, let me know if there’s anything I’m forgetting.  I want to make this amazing for everyone involved, and if there’s something I should be doing, tell me to do it! allovertheplaceband@gmail.com, I check it twice daily.
